The Technical Housing Standards Review (England)

The Government is currently undertaking a review of all of the standards and regulations affecting new homes, with a plan of action and initial consultation due to be published by late spring 2013.

The findings are awaited with interest; the outcomes will determine not just the quality of new homes, but the way we live in the future.

Architect in the House

CB3 design are again participating in the Architect in the House scheme and we are delighted that we have already undertaken our first consultation in the Scottish Borders.

The joint charitable initiative by Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity, and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) gives homeowners an hour's consultation with a RIBA chartered architect in exchange for a suggested donation of £45 to Shelter.

New research from has shown that nearly two-thirds of homeowners have lived in the same home for at least ten years. With more of us staying put while our families grow, home improvements can be the best option in making sure our homes fit our changing needs.

With our help you can make sense of your space and bring your design ideas to life. Unleash the potential of your home while helping those with more significant housing problems.
